There is a sobering reality to the cost of the Bush, McCain, Clinton and Boustany War in Iraq. Along with the thousands of lives needlessly lost, there has also been a financial cost that weighs heavily on all of us.
So far, the U.S. has squandered over 517 BILLION dollars in that war that is neither yours or mine. and for what? This 517 BILLION translates to 553 MILLION dollars that Louisiana's Seventh District has paid. Where could have we spent this money instead? Boustany's ridiculous attempt to purchase a British title for $68,500 in 1995 (and later filing a lawsuit against the hucksters for defrauding him) is indicative of the mentality we currently have in Washington. You have to ask yourself, it Boustany is willing to fritter away $68,500 of his own money on a bogus title, what will he do with your money? He will continue being a lapdog for the Republican Party, wasting lives and money as though they are worthless. Well, Charles Boustany's representation (or lack thereof) is what's worthless, let's send him home on November 4th. Then he can finally have the title, "Ex-Congressman Boustany".
